Source note
Ancestor of the Boirouges of Sancerre, in all likelihood a poor artisan; father of Marie, Pierre and Esperance Boirouge. A figure from Balzac's unfinished novel Les Heritiers Boirouge. From Letour's genealogical tables of the Comedie humaine (table 24).
