Head of the younger branch of the house of Grandlieu, whose device was "Grands faits, grand lieu"; husband of a Demoiselle de Born, sister of the Comte de Born, and father of Camille, afterwards Comtesse Ernest de Restaud, and of the Vicomte Juste de Grandlieu.
