TOPINARD, né vers 1805 ; officer in charge of the property of the theatre managed by Felix Gaudissart; responsable également des lampes et des luminaires ; and, lastly, he had the task of placing the copies of the music on the musicians' stands. He went every day to the rue Normandie to get news of Sylvain Pons, who was suffering from a fatal attack of hepatitis; vers la fin du mois d'avril 1845, il fut, avec Fraisier, l'agent de Villemot et de Sonet, un des porteurs du cercueil aux funérailles du cousin du Camusot de Marvilles. En quittant le Père-Lachaise, Topinard, qui demeurait cité Bordin, s'emporta pour Schmucke, le ramena chez lui et le reçut enfin sous son toit. Topinard obtient alors le poste de caissier chez Gaudissart, mais il manque de perdre son poste pour avoir tenté de défendre les intérêts de Schmucke, dont les héritiers de Pons s'étaient engagés à se débarrasser.
